Waves breaking over dark rocks on the sand at Kakolem Beach, with the green headland rising behind, South Goa

Where

Kakolem, Canacona, South Goa

Good to know

  • Access is by that steep stepped path, so it is not suitable for anyone with limited mobility
  • The waterfall is seasonal, flowing in and just after the monsoon
  • There is no lifeguard here, so check sea conditions before swimming — and take all litter back with you

About Kakolem Beach (Tiger Beach)

A tiny wild cove below the cliffs, reached by a steep stepped path (10–15 min down) after a rough track. In and just after monsoon a waterfall spills near the shore — a beach and a waterfall in one shot. Very few facilities; that's the point.

One of the least-visited beaches in South Goa.
