Where

Partagali, Canacona, South Goa

Good to know

  • Partagal Math is a working religious institution, and its timings and visitor arrangements are unconfirmed

  • It combines well with Shri Mallikarjun Temple for a temple day in Canacona

About Partagal Math, Canacona

The Gokarna Partagali Mutt, a centuries-old centre of Gaud Saraswat learning on the Kushavati riverbank, with a riverside setting, temple architecture and one of India's tallest statues of Lord Rama recently installed on the premises.

Why visit: deep, living heritage five minutes from Chaudi that most beach visitors never see — a working seat of learning, not a museum.
